ZOE ASHMAN
DIRECTOR
SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER
PRACTICE EDUCATOR
PARENT ASSESS TRAINED
Zoe is a qualified social worker, registered with social work England. She has a longstanding career working with Local Authority social services.
​
Zoe has in excess of 10 years’ experience working within a multi-disciplinary setting based on the child in care and care leavers team. During this time Zoe has worked across a number of roles including Family Support Worker and Personal Advisor. Zoe also practiced as a senior Social Worker on a child in care and care leavers team.
​
Zoe has an in-depth knowledge of key pieces of legislation in respect of children’s welfare and safeguarding, The assessment framework, working together to safeguard children and care planning regulations.
​
Zoe has a 1st class BA (Hons) in Social Work, a NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (children and young people) and a NVQ Level 4 in Learning, Development, and Support Services for children, young people and those who care for them.
​
Furthermore, Zoe has a holistic understanding of child development, the problematic situations experienced by young people and their families, and a wealth of experience in relation to family dynamics and the impact this can have.
Zoe is passionate about working with children, their families and professionals to develop effective services to avoid children entering the care system.

TRACY DEAN
DIRECTOR
LEAVING CARE
Tracy has worked within the social care sector for 25 years. The majority of that time has been spent within Local Authority social services teams. Tracy’s expertise sits largely within children and family services and she has extensive knowledge surrounding the problematic issues that many families face in todays society.

Tracy has a BA (Hons) 2:1 degree in Sociology and Women's Studies. She also holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (children and young people). Tracy also has a University Diploma in advice and guidance as a personal adviser.
​
In 2009, Tracy set up and ran a very successful social work practice along with nine other colleagues. This proved to be very rewarding in terms of stability for children and bringing services ‘closer’ to the child.

THERAPLAY PRACTITIONER
SOCIAL WORKER
Our Theraplay Practitioner has recently completed her social work qualification and currently works in a children in care team, following 14 years in an adoption support team working closely with families, providing tools and understanding to navigate the complexities of children's past traumas.
​
Her expertise extends beyond conventional social work, holding an accreditation in Theraplay. Additionally trained in DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy) at level 1, NVR (Non-Violent Resistance) at level 1, and BUSS (Building Underdeveloped Social Skills) at level 2.
​
Our practitioner's experience extends to crisis intervention through work with the emergency duty team, providing essential after-hours support to families in distress, including accompanying young people and vulnerable adults during police interviews as their appropriate adult.

SEND CO-ORDINATOR
QUALIFIED TEACHER
Our Send Co-ordinator is a qualified Primary School teacher, working mainly within Staffordshire County Council. She has over 10 years’ experience of working in school settings.

She has a 2:1 BA (Hons) Primary Education and English with QTS and is also a fully qualified Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), after completing the NASENCO qualification with Merit. She has completed Level 2 Safeguarding training.
​
For the past 3 years, she has worked as a SENCO, which involved coordinating the provision made for children with special educational needs (SEN), including liaising with outside agencies, parents and carers, teaching staff. She has worked closely with senior leadership teams to manage provision, develop SEN strategies and policies and provide support to other teachers. She is currently undergoing senior mental health lead training.
​
She is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities and is personally experienced in the educational and social and emotional difficulties that children with special educational needs face.

RHI WORKER
Our RHI workers engage with young people who have been reported found by Staffordshire Police following a missing episode from home and conduct Return Interview with them within specified timescales.
​
Within the Return Interview they identify "Push and Pull" factors that have attributed to the Missing Incident and work with the young person and/or other services to prevent future missing incidents. All relevant information is shared with Children's Social Care and Police.
​
They develop and sustain productive working relationships with referring agencies to ensure the regular and appropriate referrals are received.

EDUCATION
CONSULTANT
Our Education Consultant holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Sports Development and Coaching and attained Qualified Teacher Status in 2013.
With over 13 years of experience in the education sector, he has ascended to a Senior Leadership role as Assistant Headteacher in a Stoke-On-Trent Secondary School. His primary areas of focus encompass behaviour management, attendance oversight, and serving as the Deputy Safeguarding Lead, specifically overseeing Child Looked After (CLA) pupils. His extensive qualifications include Level 2 and 3 Safeguarding Certification, National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders (03/2019), and National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders (08/2023).

For over a year he has been in a successful partnership with Trinity Support Services, providing invaluable one-to-one mentoring support for both young adults and children, a testament to his genuine passion for this endeavour.
